Tony Crofts (Chief Tutor)

Tony began teaching EFL in Oxford in 1970. He has worked with teachers on communicative teaching in Russia and is well-known as a writer and broadcaster. He has been training teachers in Britain for the past 14 years and a great many of his students come by personal recommendation.

Roy Drummond (Tutor)

Roy studied Classics at University College, London, and spent a year in Israel experiencing language learning by total immersion – "a life-changing experience that showed me it is possible to teach a language without knowing your pupils' mother tongue." Qualified RSA CELTA, he also runs courses for foreign students and teachers in North Devon.

Michelle Maxom (Tutor)

Michelle Maxom has been teaching English throughout the UK and Italy since 1997. She has the Trinity Certificate and Licentiate Diploma in TESOL. She also runs executive and one to one courses for a large, private school in central London where she was previously Director of Studies.

Jeremy Taylor (Tutor)

Jeremy has been teaching English for over 18 years - Business English at University level in Germany, and then in Egypt and the Czech Republic.  He began training teachers in Ireland and is currently based in France. As well as teaching, he has written numerous readers and books for EFL students, including a best-selling English-German joke book.

Claire Walsh (Tutor)

Claire has an MA in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching. She loves meeting people, sharing stories about friends, families and experiences. She has taught in Australia, Italy, Bosnia and China and does teacher training in the UK and China. She says: “Teaching is the best job in the world!”
